TSF-Funded Study: Suicide Predictors in Adolescents and Young Adults
TSF funded a University of Washington longitudinal research study exploring predictive factors of suicidal behavior in Seattle adolescents and young adults. The study seeks to identify the social contexts and individual characteristics that increase the likelihood of suicide ideation and action. By identifying these factors, more effective targeted prevention efforts can be developed.

Every #WellnessWednesday, TSF invites a different young person, or "Wellness Warrior," to take over our Instagram story. These young people share their personal journeys with mental health and discuss wellness practices that have helped them cope as a way to normalize mental health conversations.

TSF has changed attitudes towards mental health through developing curriculum for Seattle area schools and funding research and service organizations. Founder Kasey Taylor and other fellow alumni from Mercer Island High School discuss the impact of TSF on their community and how it has inspired their personal journeys in advocating for mental health.
