Zion Williams Run
​Event Details
​Half Marathon March 4th in Zion, UT

Introduction

Coming off the success of our virtual 5k, we would love to continue the opportunity to get together and improve our physical and mental healths– side by side. 

This will be the first in many aspects for The Scooty Fund:
  • First National Meetup
  • First Race 
  • First Half Marathon
These first will hopefully become a trend for The Scooty Fund and it is only fitting that we begin this on the organizations Founding Day.


What is it?

​This event will be a half marathon race hosted just outside of the Zion National Park.  Participants can sign up for the race and join The Scooty Fund team.  You can opt to raise money for the organization or simply sign up, donate, and run!  To attend, you do not need to run.  You can simply come and support!

Participants can sign up for the race here: sign up.


To participate on our team there are two options:
  1. Sign up and Donate ​​
    —Sign up on the site ($169)  Join The Scooty Fund Team at sign up!
    —​​Donate to The Scooty Fund to receive gear and be invited to the pre race dinner (min $20)
  2. Sign Up as a Fundraiser
    —Commit to raising $1000 for the scooty fund on the race site  Join The Scooty Fund Team at sign up!
    —Participant will not need to pay the entry fee or donate personally to The Scooty Fund
    — Provide Fundraising URL (ex., mine: https://runsignup.com/thescootyfund)

Once signed up participants should prepare! Train, book lodging, secure transportation, etc
If you plan to participate please sign up by February 1 to allow for us to ship you your gear and appropriately prepare!
The Scooty Fund will send you a follow up package once you sign up.  This package will contain:
  • Lodging Options
  • Dinner Schedule
  • Training Plans
  • Social Media Template to help drive fundraising 

​(We will propose a centalized lodgin location so we can all be together)
