TSF Ambassador Program Description
Program Goals and What TSF’s Ambassadors Do:
Perks
Why does this role matter? Why do we need to talk about mental health? Full article linked here for reference.
To combat mental health stigma ● To help others understand they’re not alone ● To encourage community care and support ● To lower the risk of suicide ● To support and promote your OWN mental health
"What I love about being an ambassador: it is an easy, informal, and meaningful way to get involved and provide a strong sense of community in a world that has turned largely virtual and isolated (not to mention all the resources and helpful educational materials). The time commitment is minimal and the people you meet along the way are well worth the small time-investment. It normalizes a topic that guys aren't traditionally exposed to - mental health and vulnerability. The least important aspect, but still relevant: it is a great item to put on your resume" - Jay Potvien, 2022 Ambassador
